About the role

Reporting to the Senior Administration Officer, this role is crucial to ensure the smooth running of the Townsville Children, Youth and Family Service.

You will manage administrative tasks such as:

  • Answering phone/website/counter enquiries;
  • Organising travel;
  • Inputting the staffing roster;
  • Generating reports;
  • Maintaining and ensuring the security and confidentially of office files and records.

About you

Your strong communication and customer service skills are required when assisting with internal and external enquiries. You are a professional individual who adapts quickly to a fast pace environment and pays attention to detail. Your can-do attitude and proactive approach enable you to be efficient and reliable.

To be suitable for this position, your qualifications for the role will consist of:

  • A Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent;
  • Experience in an administration role;
  • Intermediate computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft applications;
  • Possess or have the ability to obtain a Blue Card (Working with Children), Licensed Care Service (Child Protection) and a National Police Clearance;
  • Ability to provide evidence of COVID vaccinations.
