About the role

An opportunity exists for a Cleaner, also known as Environmental Service Worker, to join our team at Homestead Aged Care Service. You will be a hands-on individual looking for variety and you will be supported by a caring and experienced team.

You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene throughout the Service including kitchenettes, dining rooms and bedrooms.

Our facility has a variety of shifts available across a 7-day roster including weekends.

About you

You are an enthusiastic reliable worker who enjoys being a team player and yet can work autonomously. You have compassion for the elderly and are passionate about maintaining an environment suitable to their needs.

Ideally you will have:

• Certificate II in Cleaning Operations is desirable;
• Experience in operating equipment associated with cleaning;
• Experience in working within the Aged Care industry is desirable but not essential;
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts across a 7 day week;
• Have or can obtain a current National Police Certificate and NDIS Worker Screening Check;
• Provide evidence of a current Influenza vaccination and COVID-19 vaccinations.
