About the role

An opportunity exists for an Environmental Service Worker to join our team at the Golden Age Aged Care Service to deliver essential services to our residents. You will be a hands-on individual looking for diversity in a role.

You will be responsible for working and assisting across the kitchen, laundry and cleaning duties in a variety of areas including the main kitchen, kitchenettes, servers, bedrooms, dining rooms and cleaning areas.

Our community has a variety of shifts available across a 7-day roster.

About you

You are an enthusiastic reliable worker who enjoys being a team player and yet can work autonomously. You have compassion for the elderly and are passionate about maintaining an environment suitable to their needs.

Ideally, you will have:

• Experience in working in a commercial kitchen;
• Experience in operating equipment associated with cleaning and laundry;
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts across a 7 day week;
• Certificate II in Cleaning Operations and/or Certificate II in Kitchen Operations or similar is desirable;
• Experience working in the Aged Care industry is desirable;
• Posses or have the ability to acquire a current National Police Certificate, current flu vaccination and all COVID vaccinations.
