2022 Events Officer- Full-time (Start ASAP)

• $63,800 base salary + super + up to $15,900 in salary packaging + retail discounts
• 5 weeks annual leave + leave loading
• Upskilling for career progression is available
• Some travel, night and weekend work required

About the role

Due to an internal promotion, there has never been a greater time to join the Marketing and Events team. Reporting to the Senior Events Coordinator, this role forms part of a fun and energetic team that look after a variety of internal and external events, workshops and trade shows.

Your days will be varied and your role will be coordinating internal and external events including:

• Sourcing suppliers and venues including audiovisual requirements and catering;
• Managing RSVP systems and on-the-day event running;
• Attending expos and sales events to promote our service;
• Posting event reporting and surveys;
• Communicating with a wide range of stakeholders;
• Developing event proposals.

About you

You will be a passionate events person, with the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines. Keen to grow your event management skills, you thrive when faced with new challenges and bring excellence and creativity to all that you do.

Your qualifications and experience for this role should also include:

• Minimum Diploma in event management, sales or marketing;
• One or more years experience in a similar role;
• Current drivers licence;
• Possessor have the ability to acquire a National Police Check and a National Personal Insolvency Check;
• Proof of a current Influenza vaccination and COVID vaccinations.
