Our seniors living community has a variety of landscaping needs across lawns, garden beds, trees and hedges. Your day will be varied as you will also attend to building maintenance items as they arise.
- 35 hours a fortnight- no night or weekend work

- Cert III in Horticulture or similar preferred

The types of services you will provide include:
- Undertaking landscaping duties including, mowing, fertilising, hedging, pruning and garden rubbish removal;
- Maintaining an inventory and preventative maintenance schedule of equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations;
- Completing records using the organisation's asset management system where appropriate (training provided);
- General building maintenance.
- It is important that you are caring as you will be a trusted person working around our community that includes a residential aged care service, retirement living service and a community centre. Your ability to work autonomously and to manage your own time is required.
To be suited to this position, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in meticulous hedging and garden presentation;
- Cert III in Horticulture or Landscaping or similar preferred;
- Applied knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety requirements;
- Basic computer skills;
- A current drivers licence;
- Possessor has the ability to obtain a National Police Check;
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and COVID vaccinations.
