2022 Maintenance Officer- Landscaping (Start ASAP)

Home Care- Brisbane (including Redcliffe)
Permanent, full-time opportunity

As the Maintenance Officer, no day will be like the other as you provide services to clients so they can continue to live independently in their own homes.

• Monday to Friday- no night or weekend work
• Fully maintained vehicle provided (no private use)
• Tools and equipment provided
• $24+/hr + super + up to $15,900 salary packaging + retail discounts
• 5 weeks annual leave + leave loading
• Qualifications desirable but not essential

The types of services you will provide include:

• Undertaking yard maintenance including, mowing, fertilising, pruning and garden rubbish removal;
• Maintain an inventory and preventative maintenance schedule of equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations;
• Completing records using the organisation's asset management system where appropriate (training provided).
• It is important that you are caring and a confident relationship builder, as you will be a trusted person in our clients' homes. Your ability to work autonomously and manage your own time is required.

To be suited to this position, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience in a handyperson/maintenance role;
• Certificate II in Landscaping/Horticulture is desirable, not essential;
• Applied knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety requirements;
• Basic computer skills;
• A current driver's licence;
• Possess or have the ability to obtain a National Police Check;
• Proof of influenza vaccination and COVID vaccinations.
