We are searching for enthusiastic Home Care Workers to support our clients in Hervey Bay.

About the role

We are looking for non-certified (unqualified) Home Care Workers to join our Hervey Bay Home Care team. This opportunity will suit someone wanting a varied and challenging role supported by dedicated and caring Service Leaders. If you are ideally looking for school hours or wish to work in a team of two, this is the role for you. Delivering a great work/life balance and a valued supportive role, you will be working alongside clients with differing support needs providing them with the assistance they require to live independently in their own homes.

As a Non-certified/ Unqualified Home Care Worker the types of support you will provide, include:

  • Helping with domestic duties;
  • Ensuring safe and hygienic living conditions in their own homes;
  • Formal qualifications are not necessary but cleaning experience is preferred.

About you

You like to make a difference in the lives of seniors as you are a caring, empathetic individual. Understanding the importance of providing quality support to our clients, you feel rewarded by creating a genuine impact. It is important that you are a confident relationship builder, as you will be a trusted person in our clients' homes.

To be suited to these positions, you will have:

  • Experience in providing excellent customer service;
  • A current driver's licence and willing to use own insured and reliable vehicle for work purposes;
  • Physical capacity to carry out the duties required, including house & manual work;
  • A current First Aid & CPR Certificate or willingness to complete;
  • A current National Police Check or willingness to complete.
  • Full vaccination from Influenza and COVID-19.
