About the role

As a Home Care Worker, you will have a varied and rewarding role. The types of support provided include:

• Helping with home duties including cleaning, shopping and meal preparation;
• Assisting with social connections;
• Participating in the review and support of clients' care plans.

About you

To be suited to the role, you will have:

• Current First Aid and CPR certificates;
• Experience in providing care to vulnerable people is desirable but not essential;
• A current driver's licence, fully insured and reliable vehicle for work purposes (km's paid);
• Physical capacity to carry out the duties required, including house duties;
• Certificate III in Individual Support/Ageing/Community is desirable but not essential;
• The possessor has the ability to obtain a National Police Check, a current Influenza vaccination and COVID vaccinations.
