About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct care to residents and assisting residents in the undertaking of daily living activities that meet the resident's individual physical, spiritual, social and cultural needs. 

During your varied day you will:

• Provide personal care, physical and emotional support to residents who require assistance with daily living, including e.g. mobility assistance to and from activities, meals, social outings and clinical care, medication assistance;
• Participate in the development and review of plans;
• Ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate;
• Maintain the personal dignity and privacy of all residents;
• Undertake food handling, preparation, cooking, cleaning, distribution and serving of meals to residents;
• Undertake and complete tasks as delegated by Registered/Enrolled Nurse.

About you

You are a positive individual who works well with others and are happy to support your team members.

Your experience and qualifications for this role ideally should include:

• Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care or similar;
• Completion of HLTHPS006- Assist Clients with Medication is desirable but not essential;
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts;
• Have or can obtain a current National Police Certificate;
• Provide evidence of a current Influenza vaccination and COVID-19 vaccinations.
