The Mastercard Intern Program is a comprehensive program where students will gain hands-on real work-life skills while having fun and contributing to a global company. As an intern, you will be challenged with completing projects that will enhance your skills as well as contribute to the department’s goals and objectives. Successful candidates will be assigned to a business unit for 8-10 weeks. 

For 2024, we will be hiring interns into our data & services, business development, account management, product management, corporate security, and tech teams.

Spend the summer enhancing your skills, sharing your ideas and making a difference in the real world. 

Over the 10-week period, interns can expect to:

• Work on impactful assignments that drive business results.
• Attend networking sessions and leadership speaker series.
• Participate in volunteer and team building experiences.
• Receive hands-on training to help you build your core skill set. 
• Have mentorship and development opportunities.

Program Qualifications:

• Evidence of strong academics, the penultimate year of study (graduating between June to December 2024)
• Innovative thinking and thoughtful risk-taking.
• Project management, problem solving and planning skills with a demonstrated record of successfully managing multiple projects.
• Ability to work on a team and independently. 
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 
• Experience of working in technology roles in financial institutions is an added advantage.

Experience and Skills needed: 

• An energetic and enterprising individual 
• Display a high degree of initiative & agility.
• Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
• Attention to detail. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Internship period: December 2024 to February 2025

Mastercard Australia will not be able to sponsor intern and fulltime employment visa therefore only candidates who possess full legal working rights in Australia will be considered.
