A & M Civil, a cherished family-owned civil contracting company established in 1974 in Somerset, has deep local roots. Founded by Albert and Monica de Ruiter, it initially focused on pipeline and sewer construction for the community.
In 2015, the directorship was passed to their son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Kerry de Ruiter, who now oversee a team of over 30 dedicated staff. Their portfolio has diversified to include road construction, car parks, sports fields, concrete structures, batters, road protection, pipelines, and sewers.
Their accomplished in-house team comprises experienced civil engineers, project managers, plumbers, concreters, plant operators, surveyors, and administrators. A & M Civil takes pride in nurturing local apprentices and contributing to regional job growth and development.
