2022 Hospitality Officer (Start ASAP)

Blue Care is inviting applications from competent Hospitality Professionals to join our Hervey Bay Masters Lodge Aged Care Facility team.

This is a great opportunity for Hospitality and Housekeeping Professionals (Cooks/ Kitchen Staff / Food and Beverage Attendants/ Hospitality All Rounders, Cleaners and Housekeepers) aiming to restore their work-life balance and gain employment in one of Australia's largest health care and community services not for profit organisations.

The ideal candidates will possess a clear understanding of WHS, a keen eye for detail, strong working knowledge of the hospitality industry and safe food preparation, storage and.

What you'll need:

You'll be an experienced hospitality worker - preferably within the aged care sector - and demonstrate:

• Excellent customer service
• Enthusiasm and strong self-motivation
• Great communication skills and excellent attention to detail
• Good understanding of Australian food and beverage standards
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.

Previous exposure to nutrition and dietary requirement for the aged is desirable, but not essential.

Supporting our clients in the best way possible is important to us. To be employed by Blue Care, you will be required to complete the free NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement and provide a copy of your certificate on completion.
